Change of Use

Change of Use. The building was formerly B2 (General Industrial), set to be recategorised to C3 (Dwellinghouses) and has been derelict since 2013. The customer purchased the premises in an auction for the purposes of both renovation and Change of Use.

The structure had very high ceiling heights so Invent proposed to utilise this space by adding a first floor (loft conversion) to the drawings and did our best to ensure the building features were to be restored to former glory. Examples of this included remedial work to the window frames, doors, door frames and a restoration of stonework around the external walls of the premises to remain in keeping.

The work is yet to be started and we will be visiting the site once we have word that construction is under way.
